Dr. John Reed

A Roosevelt graduate and Des Moines native, Dr. John Reed joined South Des Moines Dental as an associate in 1985…and never left. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. In addition, he completed a hospital dentistry residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Reed makes his home in Des Moines and when not at the office can often be found riding his bike. He has completed 21 RAGBRAIs and hopes he has a few more in his legs.

Dr Reed is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, the Des Moines Dental District, and GV Black Study Club, including being a past president.
